Martial Arts and Karate for Bentonville and Bella Vista residents

My name is Kyle Russell, and I am the Sifu at Russell’s Academy of Self Defense and Karate, also known as RASDAK.  We are located in the Bentonville/Bella Vista area at 8824 W. McNelly Rd (BC 40), Bentonville, AR 72712. You can reach us at 479-464-4770 or email Kyle at chinesekenpokungfu@hotmail.com or Dana at kenpokaratelady@hotmail.com  At this academy we offer lessons in Chinese Kenpo, Wushu Kung Fu, Yang Style Tai Chi, Shotokan, and Kuoshu San Shou. Hopefully everyone will enjoy this blog site.

On this site, we are hoping to discuss training tips and techniques, history of the martial arts we teach, and anything else that is of interest to our students or prospective students here in the Bentonville/Bella Vista area.  Our main focus is on practicality of how to defend oneself on the street. We teach both hard and soft styles, both external and internal. We usually do not spend that much time on weapons, but because of request for them I have added a few in. I can currently offer instruction in Staff, Cane, and Straight Sword. Other weapons will hopefully be available soon, these are things done more on the side rather than part of our curiculum.

    Hi guys

    Good review and write-up.

I really plan to get back into it this year – get in shape and perfect this art of ours.

Thanks for putting together a nice resource. Personally I just got to put in a plug and say martialarts rocks

Always good to read about the activies of people.

Its also amazing what is a martial art these days with WWE and the MMA progression through Pay per View.

    Maybe even American Gladiators :)

Hi and thanks for the opportunity to comment.

I appreciate the basis of what was said here but the fitness and especially its training is so personal I am looking forward to more comments as this topic grows.

Great info and Im putting it into action with my kung fu straight away.

I have trained hard in the past with running etc in thew army but I have to say combining Q10 and sparring gets the best results.

ALso with the latest in mdeical science and wholistic techniques I would not be supprised if life expectancy rose to 90+ years in the modern world.

Glad to see you enjoy the information, and I will try to get back to putting more references and stuff up lately. I love to teach and through this I am able to do it globably. I am not familiar with Q10 but I love sparring, I don’t think there is anything i’ve learned as much from. Hope to have you as a devoted reader soon and I try to post up something new at least once a week so check back with us often if you can. Good Luck with your Training

Hi all great information here and good thread to comment on.

Can I ask though – how did you get this picked up and into google news?

Very impressive that this blog is syndicated through Google and is it something that is just up to Google or you actively created?

Obviously this is a popular blog with great data so well done on your seo success..

Thanks for your comment. Honestly, I don’t know how it got into google news, until you just told me I didn’t know it was on there. Glad to hear it though.

I simply made a blog site and a website for my business, cross linked them, linked to other martial sites in exchange for them to link to me and that improved my rating. I also make sure to try and include words I want to show up in google on my titles, I love to teach and I can’t teach if no one can find my information. Unfortunately doing pics and all can be very time consuming so I most of my stuff is written. Hoping to get more video and instructional pics up soon though.
